A Road Trip to the Himalayas – Nature, Devotion & Serenity

14th August – Drive from Gurgaon to Govindghat
We begin our road journey early morning from Gurgaon to Govindghat. Enjoy the changing landscapes—from bustling cities to serene mountain terrain—as we reach our base in the Garhwal Himalayas by night. Overnight stay in Govindghat.

15th August – Trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria
After breakfast, drive a short distance to Pulna (the trek starting point), and begin a scenic 9–10 km trek along the Lakshman Ganga river. Reach Ghangaria, a peaceful hamlet surrounded by pine forests and misty hills. Overnight stay in Ghangaria.

16th August – Explore Valley of Flowers, Return to Ghangaria
Trek 3–4 km into the Valley of Flowers, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its breathtaking alpine flora. Spend time amidst vibrant blooms and snow-capped backdrops before heading back to Ghangaria for the night.

17th August – Visit Hemkunt Sahib, Return to Ghangaria
Early morning, embark on a 6 km uphill trek to Hemkunt Sahib (4,632 m), one of the highest Sikh shrines in the world. The serene glacial lake and spiritual atmosphere offer a deeply moving experience. Return to Ghangaria by evening.

18th August – Trek Down to Govindghat
Descend from Ghangaria to Pulna and drive back to Govindghat. Rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Optional (Evening): Badrinath Temple Darshan
If you're up for it, take a 1-hour drive to Badrinath Temple. With an average 2-hour wait time, attend the divine evening darshan and return to Govindghat. Temple closes by 9 PM.

19th August – Drive Back to Gurgaon
Start your return journey to Gurgaon with hearts full of gratitude and unforgettable memories from the mountains.
